It is true for me that all love loses its intensity. All love changes and decreases to either a tolerable passive status or to animosity and disrespect. It’s not the commonality of this disappointment, it’s the commonality of thinking that you have an isolated uniqueness. I don’t
know exactly how it feels to go through what you’re going through, but I do know that your feelings are essential to your next choices. Pain is not pain when something worse is at your throat that numbs your mind.

Even if it is true, people who have been hurt or damaged by the disappointment of love more than anything want to avoid a regurgitation of those hurt feelings. Of course that’s understandable. But the reality is that the only thing that can eliminate those residual feelings is
to bring them to the surface and look at them honestly and dispel them once and forever. One eye with love and one eye with reality, neither blinding the other.

Hopefully, you are the one who says they don’t get it because the rest of us certainly not only get it, but we also either have lived it or are living it. If you meritoriously enjoy and expect love undeservingly, it’s possible that you have been blinded with kindness unlike me. If none of these touch your heart nor ring true in your life or the lives of people you have known, God bless you! It isn’t fun. It isn’t pretty. It may be unnecessary for most everybody else, but for me it was necessary. It is still necessary for me to give Love another chance to be understood. This time, Love will have to make the first move.
